Entry Level Pilot – Captain Development Program SkyCare's Captain Development Program is a structured pathway from day one to a Captain role on turbine aircraft, with pilots typically reaching this milestone within a few years based on performance and operational needs. New hires begin in a ground-based operational role (Operations Coordinator or Aircraft Groomer) before progressing to Navajo First Officer and ultimately the left seat on the Metro. Operations Coordinator duties (Sioux Lookout, ON): - Support SOCC Coordinator and Flight Follower team - Handle customer quoting, cargo receiving, and customs documentation - Manage flight following, coordination, and real-time customer requests - Operate flight information systems Aircraft Groomer duties (Sioux Lookout ON / Thunder Bay ON / Kitchener-Waterloo ON / St. Andrews MB): - Groom, detail, and fuel company aircraft - Load/unload cargo and baggage - Operate aircraft ground equipment and tow aircraft - Maintain hangars, offices, vehicles, and facilities - Assist with commissary and customer service Requirements: - TC Commercial Pilot Licence - TC Group 1 Multi-Engine IFR - Valid Class 1 Medical - Minimum 250 hours total time - Legally eligible to work in Canada - Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector (within the last 30 days) - Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
