PHI Health is seeking skilled and dedicated VFR Pilots (STAR VFR Pilot) to join their air ambulance team. Pilots will be at the forefront of life-saving missions, delivering critical care with speed, precision, and commitment. Aircraft: Bell 407 (BH407) VFR/NVG (Instrument rating required) Operations: 24-hour operations (day/night rotation) Schedule: 7&7 with bookend travel days Location: Varies – Travel required (Remote/roving base) Job Duties: - Perform line pilot duties in accordance with GOM - Participate in community outreach programs and adhere to PHI Air Medical policies - Assist in loading and unloading of patients and equipment (lift up to 100 lbs) - Support Safety Management System, Destination Zero, and other company safety campaigns - Work with internal and external customers to provide safe, efficient, courteous, and reliable service Requirements: - Commercial and Instrument Helicopter Ratings - First Class Medical - CAMTS Requirements: 2,000 Total Hours / 1,500 Hours Helicopter / 1,000 Hours PIC Helicopters / 500 Hours Turbine Helicopters / 100 Hours Unaided Night Operations OR 50 Hours Unaided and 100 Hours NVG - Must meet company flight personnel weight restriction: 235 lbs or less - Strong communication and customer service skills - Interview and acceptance by customer/PHI management - Must pass pre-placement physical exam including functional capacity exam, drug screening, and background check - If successful applicant requires aircraft transition: 1-year minimum service requirement per CBA
