First Officer - PC-12 (NTR)

Job description

The PlaneSense PC-12 First Officer assists the Captain and acts as Second-In-Command of the airplane. The First Officer assists with decision making, in coordination with the Captain, throughout all phases of flight operations and is adaptive to an active and rapidly changing flight schedule. The First Officer must possess an extensive knowledge of aviation weather, federal aviation regulations, international customs, immigration requirements, specific aircraft systems, company policies and procedures, and must be thoroughly familiar with flying in an IFR and VFR environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: First Officer duties include, but are not limited to: assisting the Captain in reviewing weather and NOTAMs, reviewing information provided by the Flight Operations Center to ensure accuracy, confirming compliance with applicable FARs, ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures, ensuring a thorough preflight aircraft inspection has been completed, overall care and cleanliness of the aircraft, updating aircraft charts and navigation databases, obtaining IFR clearances, loading passenger luggage, and interacting with passengers to provide them with a quality customer service experience. Minimum Qualifications: - Commercial, SEL with instrument rating - 1st or 2nd class medical certificate - 750 hours total time - Superior customer service skills - Excellent IFR knowledge and superior BAI flying ability - Current passport with unrestricted international travel privileges - Valid driver's license Highly Qualified Applicants (minimum qualifications): - FAA ATP Single-Engine or Commercial Single-Engine Pilot Certificate with instrument rating - FAA 1st or 2nd class medical certificate - FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operators Permit - 1500 hours total time - 1000 hours as PIC - 500 hours in fixed wing aircraft - 500 hours of cross-country flight time - 100 hours of instrument flying time - 100 hours of night flying time - Superior customer service skills - Current passport with unrestricted international travel privileges - Valid driver's license Preferred experience: corporate or charter operations (Part 135 or Part 91 Subpart K), technically advanced aircraft, turbine time (particularly PC-12), Bachelor's degree, leadership roles (Safety Officer, Lead Flight Instructor, Chief Pilot), military-trained pilots.
