Job description

S92 Captain (Support Helicopters Falkland Islands). Equal time roster – 6 weeks on / 6 weeks off. Based at Mount Pleasant, Falkland Islands, South Atlantic. The operation provides helicopter support to the UK military. Duties include movement of personnel, supplies, and Helicopter External Sling Load Operations (HESLO). The successful applicant will receive mountain flying and HESLO training as appropriate. This position offers VFR/IFR, low level and mountain flying along with underslung loads. May provide a pathway to Search and Rescue flying in the future. Duties and Responsibilities: - Maintaining familiarity with relevant United Kingdom air legislation and agreed aviation practices and procedures. - Maintaining familiarity and adherence to the Company Operations Manual. - Observation, maintenance, and compliance of Company SOPs. - Monitoring pilot handling, aircraft limitations, aircraft performance, fuel checks, navigation, terrain clearance and overall safe conduct of the flight. - Maintaining a high personal standard of discipline, conduct and appearance. - Leading by active example in the development and maintenance of high standards of professional expertise, discipline and morale. Requirements: - Valid CAA/UK ATPL(H) - Valid S92A Type Rating - Must be eligible to meet the requirements to hold a Falkland Islands work permit

• Must comply with Falkland Islands Immigration policy medical requirements and obtain a relevant work permit if not a Falkland Islands resident
