Job description

European Flight Academy (the flight school of the Lufthansa Group) is looking for young talents for its Ab initio ATPL commercial pilot training program. After successful completion of the EFA program (approximately 22–24 months), graduates receive a Commercial Pilot License (CPL) and Instrument Rating (IR, frozen ATPL), qualifying them to apply for a cockpit seat with all Lufthansa Group airlines. Training includes: - Comprehensive theory training in subjects such as navigation, meteorology, and aviation law. - Practical training in visual flight and instrument flight on single and twin-engine aircraft. - Intensive simulator training preparing candidates for piloting a jet with a multi-crew. Application Requirements: - Valid DLR certificate (must be valid for at least 1 year at the time of application). - General qualification for university entrance (Allgemeine Hochschulreife / Matura / Fachhochschulreife / Fach-/Berufs-Maturität or equivalent). - EU, Swiss, or EFTA member state citizenship. - Fluent English (minimum B2 level). - German mandatory for the Swiss location (minimum B2). - Minimum age 17 years old. - Must meet the requirements for an aero-medical fitness test. Training locations: Bremen, Rostock, Zurich, Grenchen, and Goodyear.
