Castle Air is seeking an experienced and professional Chief Pilot / Flight Operations Manager to lead flight operations within a UK AOC helicopter company based at Biggin Hill Airport. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for flying standards, crew management, regulatory compliance and operational performance across a multi-type operation. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management, the UK CAA, customers and internal stakeholders to ensure safe, compliant and efficient delivery of operations. Key responsibilities include leading and supervising flight crew and standards, ensuring compliance with UK CAA requirements, promoting safety culture, overseeing pilot recruitment and development, acting as a key point of contact with the UK CAA, and supporting audits and regulatory submissions. Operations include charter, HEMS and specialist helicopter operations. Fleet: AW139, AW169, H145, AW109. Requirements: UK CAA CPL(H) or ATPL(H), Valid Class 1 Medical, eligible to live and work in the UK, able to hold the position of Nominated Person Flight Operations Manager within a UK AOC structure. Candidate should have extensive rotary-wing operational experience in a commercial helicopter environment, previous involvement in postholder responsibilities, strong knowledge of UK CAA/AOC/Air Operations requirements, experience with regulators, audits and compliance, and experience on AW139, AW169, H145 or AW109. HEMS and/or charter experience preferred.
