Job description

Direct Entry Captain for King Air BE20 in Air Ambulance operations based in New Brunswick, Canada. Reports to the Director, Flight Operations. Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the King Air BE20 fleet. Responsibilities: - Safely operate company aircraft as Pilot-in-Command, ensuring the security of passengers, crew, aircraft, and cargo. - Brief crew on planned operation, route to be flown, and any operational concerns. - Supervise and delegate responsibilities to crew members directly under command. - Ensure parameters for operational control are maintained throughout flights. - Maintain on-time performance and accomplish flight objectives. - Liaise with Voyageur's Dispatch department, ATC, FSS, and customers. - Ensure all necessary maps, charts, and navigation equipment are readily available. - Review, amend, and complete operational paperwork, Operational Flight Plans, and manuals. - Lead safety briefings and simulated emergency scenarios. - Proactively utilize Voyageur's Safety and Risk Management system. - Comply with all company policies, air regulations, and standard operating procedures. - Maintain qualifications required to crew King Air BE20 aircraft. Minimum Requirements: - Valid Canadian ATPL. - Minimum 2,000 hours total flight time. - Minimum 500 hours Multi-Engine Pilot-in-Command time. - Minimum 200 hours on King Air series (100, 200, 300/350) aircraft. - Valid BE20 or BE30 Type Rating is an asset (not required). - MEDEVAC/Air Ambulance experience is an asset. - Must be legally eligible to work for a Canadian company. - Clear Criminal Background Check required. - Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. - Valid passport and able to travel internationally unrestricted. - Willing to work a flexible rotation schedule.
