Job description

Airlift Northwest (operated by Air Methods) is seeking a Fixed Wing Pilot based in Yakima, WA, flying the PC-12 under IFR operations for air medical transport. **Job Summary:** Responsible for ensuring aircraft and weather conditions are airworthy to transport medical crew and patient to receiving hospital within an assigned operational area. Responsible for compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), Aeronautical Information Manual (AIM), General Operations Manual guidelines (GOM), and thorough knowledge of Air Methods policies and procedures. **Schedule:** 7/7 schedule – 12-hour shifts. **IFR Program Requirements:** - 2,500 total flight hours with minimum of 2,000 flight hours in category - 1,000 hours PIC in category - 500 hours of cross-country flight time (at least 50 hours at night) - 500 hours of turbine time - 100 hours night flight time - 100 hours of flight in actual instrument conditions in category **ALNW (Airlift Northwest) Requirements (stricter):** - 2,500 total flight hours with minimum of 2,500 flight hours in category - 150 hours night flight time - 300 hours of flight in actual instrument conditions in category - 50 hours in make and model (PC-12) **Certificates / Licenses / Registrations:** - Instrument rating required (ATP in category meets this requirement) - Fixed wing multiengine rating required for twin-engine aircraft - Commercial single-engine land required for single-engine aircraft - First OR Second Class FAA Medical certificate required **Other Requirements:** - Must have flown in category within the previous 24 months - Weight not to exceed 250 lbs; must be less than 70 years old - Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
