HCA Healthone AirLife – Fixed Wing Pilot (BE200, IFR) – Temporary Position based in Englewood, CO. Air Methods seeks exceptional fixed wing pilots to partner in providing air medical transport resources 24/7/365. The pilot is responsible for ensuring aircraft and weather conditions are airworthy to transport medical crew and patients to receiving hospitals within an assigned operational area, and for compliance with FARs, AIM, GOM, and Air Methods policies. Responsibilities: - Operate Air Methods aircraft safely and legally. - Complete pre-flight checks and Daily Flight Log sign-off before every flight. - Final authority regarding aircraft operations and safety of passengers, cargo and equipment. - Familiarity with all aircraft and medical systems of backup aircraft in the operational area. - Ensure medical flight team is familiar with medical interior and systems. - Complete required documentation. - Conduct detailed flight planning with little notice. - Participate in Air Methods meetings, activities, projects, committees and community outreach. - Schedule: 7/7, 12-hour shifts. Requirements: - IFR Program: 2,500 total flight hours (minimum 2,000 in category), 1,000 hours PIC in category, 500 hours cross-country (at least 50 at night), 500 hours turbine time, 100 hours night flight, 100 hours actual instrument conditions in category. - Instrument rating (for category and class of aircraft); ATP rating in category meets this requirement. - Fixed wing multiengine rating required for twin-engine aircraft. - Commercial single-engine land required for single-engine aircraft. - First OR Second Class FAA Medical certificate required. - Must have flown in category within the previous 24 months. - Weight not to exceed 250 lbs; must be less than 70 years old. - Associate's degree or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
