Job description
The King Air 350 Check Pilot (Check Airman) plays a critical leadership role within Flight Operations. This position is responsible for training, evaluating, mentoring, and standardizing King Air 350 pilots, while also serving as Pilot in Command (PIC) during line operations. The Check Pilot supports the growth and development of Advanced Air pilots through flight training, proficiency checks, line checks, and operational oversight, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Flying assignments will support Advanced Air's Essential Air Service (EAS) routes and on-demand charter operations. This position reports directly to the Chief Pilot and works closely with the Director of Training and Director of Operations as required. Requirements: - High school diploma or GED - CFI, CFII, MEI Certificates preferred but not required - 1,000 hours total time - 500 PIC - 250 cross-country - 100 Night - 75 Instrument (50 actual) - 50 Multi-engine - High-level working knowledge of FAR 91, 61 and AIM Part Sections 4 & 5 - Ability to work in confined spaces and to manipulate, push, pull, and lift heavy objects in excess of 150 lbs - Operate as SIC and Company Ground Instructor till ready for PIC Upgrade, then as PIC and Flight Instructor till ready for Check Pilot Duties, then as PIC and Check Pilot

Compensation and Benefits
$115,000 – $178,546 per year (USD)
