First Officer - NTR

Job description

The First Officer shall serve as Second in Command (SIC) on SKYLEASE flights requiring two pilot crewmembers and should be prepared to assume the duties of the PIC should the PIC become incapacitated. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: - An appropriate pilot type rating for the aircraft in which he/she is serving. (FAR 61.55(a)) - First Class FAA Medical Certificate valid within 12 months. A First Officer over age 60 must have a valid First-Class FAA medical certificate valid within 6 months. - FCC Radiotelephone Permit - Certification of Training: Initial, Recurrent, Proficiency Checks, Differences, and Upgrade. - Operating Experience Record. - Recent Experience: 3 required takeoffs and landings within a 90 day period (FAR 121.439) and current qualification on the aircraft. - Must not have reached his 65th birthday, if performing required flight crewmember duties under FAR Part 121. (FAR 121.383(c)) - Must be qualified through training, experience and expertise with full understanding of aviation safety standards, safe operating practices, 14 CFRs, operations specifications, all appropriate maintenance requirements and company manuals. Minimum Requirements: - Minimum of 1,500 hours total time - 500 hours multi-engine PIC - High School Diploma - First Class FAA Medical - ICAO Level 5 English - Willing to travel domestic and international Preferred Requirements: - FAA ATP - 5,000 hours total time - 1,000 hours Part 121 SIC or PIC in glass cockpit transport category turbine airplanes - Four-year degree - First Class FAA Medical - ICAO Level 5 English Safety Sensitive Position – Subject to FAA Drug and Alcohol Program
