Job description
The Second in Command (First Officer) will perform specific responsibilities relating to operating the aircraft to which they are assigned (A321 or A330). Duties include assisting in flight planning and other preparations for flight, carrying out duties assigned by the Captain, and carrying out other tasks as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Requirements: - Hold an updated certified logbook - Hold a valid Transport Canada ATPL or Commercial Pilot License with either IATRA or SAMRA/SARON exams written - Thorough knowledge of Canadian aviation regulations (CARs) - Hold a medical certificate of category class 1 - Hold Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident status - No restrictions to travel in the United States or other countries served by Air Transat - Hold an aviation college diploma (asset)
