Captain Recruitment category: Flight crew / Pilots Job description Operation of the A320 aircraft and flight-operations-related duties. Eligibility (mandatory conditions) - Have 500 hours or more of captain flight time (PIC time) at a Japanese scheduled air transport operator. - Hold an Airline Transport Pilot Licence issued by the Japanese civil aviation authority (it is preferable to hold a type rating for an aircraft type with a seating capacity equal to or greater than the A320). - Hold an Aviation English Proficiency Certificate of Level 4 or higher. - Hold a valid Class 1 Aviation Medical Certificate. - If you have reached the age of 64 years and 6 months at the time of application, you must have passed the additional aviation medical examination applicable at age 65. Employment type / contract period - During training: fixed-term employment (for the training period). - After appointment as captain: indefinite-term employment (until age 65). - Age 65 and over: fixed-term contract renewed annually (until age 68). - Probationary period: 3 months. Place of work Based at Kansai International Airport and Narita International Airport, and at the training provider or other locations designated by the company according to the duties. Salary In accordance with company regulations (details will be explained during the selection process). Bonus Performance-linked bonus, paid once a year. Working hours Shift work based on flight duty and ground duty (variable working hours system).
