Captain - AVRORJ (NTR)

Job description

Avro RJ Captain position with Summit Air, based in Vancouver, BC. The role involves operating Avro RJ aircraft safely and efficiently throughout Northern Canada as PIC. Responsibilities include staying current with all available flight information including weather and applicable NOTAMs, verifying type A flight plans for accuracy, participating in aircraft pre-flight inspections, and all post-flight duties. Requirements: Current Canadian ATPL, 4000 hours total time, 2500 MPIC (greater than 5700 kg), current passport with ability to travel to the United States and Europe, ability to obtain Canadian Area Identity Card (RAIC), strong commitment to safety culture, successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing, strong interpersonal and communication skills. Assets: 500 hours on a jet aircraft, high Arctic experience, glass cockpit experience.
