Job description
Piedmont Airlines' Cadet Program pays you to build time. Interview with just 400 hours and earn $15,000 in bonuses as you work toward Airport Transport Pilot Certificate Training Program (ATP/R-ATP) minimums. Cadets receive mentorship, promotional materials, and invitations to Cadet events. The program gives cadets the freedom to choose how they build hours — flight instruct, fly for a charter company, or tow banners. Through a seniority-based flow-through program, pilots at Piedmont graduate to guaranteed jobs at American Airlines. Piedmont will pay for the ATP-CTP course and test (valued at $5,000), along with hotel accommodations and ground transportation during the course. Once the ATP-CTP course and exam are completed, candidates will be placed into the next available new hire class at Piedmont, with no additional interview required. Minimum Qualifications: - 400 hours total time to apply, 500 hours total time to start - No closer than 200 hours away from reaching ATP/Restricted ATP minimums - Valid United States passport or a valid passport with authorization to work in the United States - FCC Radiotelephone Operator Permit - Current First Class Medical Certificate
