First Officer - Learjet (NTR)

Job description

The Second-in-Command (SIC) supports the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in the safe and efficient operation of Learjet aircraft for company flights. This role ensures adherence to all FAA regulations, company policies, and industry best practices while providing exceptional service to passengers. The SIC is expected to maintain a high level of professionalism, situational awareness, and teamwork at all times. Duties include: assisting the PIC with all phases of flight planning and execution; operating the aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations, aircraft limitations, and company procedures; performing pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight duties including inspections, checklist completion, and documentation; monitoring aircraft systems, weather, air traffic, and surroundings; maintaining communication with PIC, crew members, dispatch, and ground personnel; adhering to FAA Part 91/135 regulations; maintaining aircraft readiness; ensuring compliance with company SMS; participating in recurrent training, proficiency checks, and safety briefings; providing professional, courteous service to passengers and clients. Minimum Qualifications: - FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Airplane Multi-Engine Land (AMEL) - FAA First or Second Class Medical Certificate - Minimum Total Flight Time: 1,000 hours - Multi-Engine Time: 1,000 hours - Instrument Rating and demonstrated IFR proficiency - Ability to pass background, drug testing, and PRIA checks - Valid passport; ability to travel internationally as needed Preferred Qualifications: - Learjet type rating (e.g., LR-60, LR-45, LR-35/36) - Previous Part 91 or 135 flight experience - ATP Certificate or ATP-CTP completion - Strong CRM, communication, and decision-making skills - Experience in business or charter aviation

$80,000 per year (USD)
