First Officer - NTR

USA Jet Airlines is seeking a First Officer for FAR 121 cargo operations based in Belleville, MI. Since 1994, USA Jet Airlines has provided premium, on-demand air cargo transportation services to the North American manufacturing industry, serving customers such as Ford, General Motors, and Tesla. Responsibilities: - Report to the Chief Pilot administratively and to the assigned Captain functionally during FAR 121 duty periods. - Be knowledgeable of the USA Jet General Operations Manual, FARs, OpSpecs, Aircraft Flight Manual, and other pertinent instructions. - Determine flight and duty time limitations, ensure adequate rest, and maintain proper uniform. - Keep the PIC appraised per Company SOP in all phases of flight. - Perform additional duties at the discretion of the PIC: filing/opening/closing flight plans, conducting preflight and post-flight inspections, checking required documents/navigational aids/manuals/equipment. - Participate in loading/offloading of cargo and/or passengers as applicable. - Supervise or complete securing of cargo, cargo nets, and flight crew barrier. - Determine carry-on items are properly stowed; brief couriers or jump seaters; perform ATC communications. - Train for upgrading to Captain. - Execute applicable ground security requirements as mandated by the TSA (Ground Security Coordinator, aircraft/cargo/passenger security). - Ensure air cargo is accepted, inspected, loaded, and secured in accordance with domestic/international regulatory and Company requirements. - Actively participate in USA Jet Safety Programs and Safety Management System. Requirements: - Must hold the appropriate licenses and certificates. - Must complete training, checking, and qualification requirements defined in USA Jet approved/accepted manuals. - Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
