Captain - Lear 45 (NTR)

Sunwest Aviation Ltd. is the leading Western Canadian operator of jet and turboprop charter aircraft. Based in Calgary, Alberta, the company has over twenty-five years of safe operation. We currently have an opportunity for a Captain, LR45 (Ref. #: 2026-004). Reporting to the Chief Pilot, this position is responsible for the proficient and safe operation of the Lear 45 aircraft. Duties and Responsibilities: - Perform all required duties and responsibilities associated with the Lear 45 aircraft. - Strictly adhere to safety regulations in accordance with company requirements, Transport Canada, and CARs (Civil Aviation Regulations). - Execute any additional tasks as assigned by the Chief Pilot and/or Deputy Chief Pilot. Qualifications, Experience and Competencies: - Must hold a valid Airline Transport Pilot Licence, along with a valid Instrument and Type rating (if required). - 3,500 hours Total Time. - 2,000 hours PIC. - 2,000 hours Multi-Engine. - 1,500 hours Multi PIC. - 200 hours jet. - Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience on the Lear 45. - Excellent customer service abilities. - Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. - Good organizational and time management skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
