Sierra West Airlines is seeking qualified SIC (Second-in-Command) pilots to join their Metro team for a cargo operation based in El Paso, Texas. This is a First Officer position operating under Part 135. JOB DUTIES: - Professional communications skills for complex internal and external aircraft communications - Assist with loading and unloading freight - Operate aircraft in accordance with all applicable regulations and company policies and procedures - Emphasize flight crew member safety and exemplary customer service - Note and communicate aircraft deficiencies for maintenance review and correction - Perform flights during day, night, and weather conditions - Ability to perform other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS: - Commercial Pilot License with multi-engine land and instrument rating - Current Instrument Proficiency Check - English Proficient (ICAO Level 4) - Must be at least 18 years of age - FAA Medical: First Class - FCC Radiotelephone Operator Permit - Current Passport (passport cards not accepted) - Eligibility to work in the United States - Must be able to lift up to 125 lbs., climb ladders, and maneuver around aircraft - Successful completion of pre-employment DOT drug screening and other required background checks - Ability to obtain an airport SIDA badge - Willingness and ability to relocate to assigned base and travel extensively - Ability to work various shifts, overtime, and/or after-hour call outs BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: - 800 hours TT - 250 hours PIC - 75 hours ME - 40 hours Turbine - Part 135 experience, familiarity with company aircraft, and/or previous cargo experience highly preferable - iPad required when reporting for duty - Must relocate to El Paso, Texas base
