Porter Airlines is hiring First Officers for the De Havilland Dash 8-400. Opportunities are available based on operational needs at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (YTZ) and Ottawa Macdonald-Cartier International Airport (YOW). Qualifications: - Airline Transport Pilot License (Transport Canada) or IATRA - Minimum 1,000 hours total time - Aviation College or University Degree is an asset - Must possess the legal ability to work in Canada - Must possess a current, valid Canadian Passport, or a current, valid International Passport with a valid US Crewmember Visa (C-1/D) Pilots that do not meet the minimum requirements may be considered based on experience and other factors. Porter recognises a First Officer's current years-of-service in position operating the Dash 8-400 at other carriers, and states that pilots joining now benefit from rapid seniority progression and the fastest possible upgrade to a narrow-body jet Captain role in Canada.
