Job description
Flexjet is recruiting a First Officer to work as part of a team piloting assigned Flexjet aircraft for both domestic and international flights, providing a safe flight for Flexjet owners during their scheduled rotation. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Adhere to the Duties and Responsibilities outlined in the Flexjet FOM. - Perform all First Officer / SIC duties as directed by the Pilot-in-Command (PIC). - Ensure the assigned aircraft is airworthy and all proper documents are onboard. - Function as Second-in-Command (SIC) on all flights. - Report all known or suspected FAA violations or incidents promptly to the Chief Pilot. - Maintain a current medical certificate as required by the Company. - Report maintenance discrepancies and alert dispatch to aircraft status through the PIC. - Maintain contact with dispatch during flights. - Greet passengers and assist with seating and luggage storage. - Conduct passenger briefings and assist with emergency evacuations. REQUIREMENTS: - Must meet ATP minimums (written complete and qualify to take the check ride). - Competitive candidates will possess 3,000 hours total flight time. - Current 1st Class Medical certificate. - Valid Passport. - Ability to obtain CANPASS permit (Canadian Customs program). - Bachelor's Degree in Aviation, Aviation Management, or related field preferred; or equivalent experience. - Previous experience in Part 135/91K or corporate aircraft desirable. - Must possess the legal right to work in the United States and have the ability to travel in and out of the US and to all cities/countries where Flexjet serves. - Working knowledge of FAR Part 135, Part 91 Subpart K, and Part 91. - Thorough knowledge of FAA, ICAO, and other international flight operations regulations. DOMICILES: Candidates must reside near or be willing to reside near assigned domicile, able to report within two hours. Commuting to and from the domicile is done at company expense during scheduled days. Numerous home-base airports across the United States are available.
