Job description

The Rotor Wing Pilot is responsible for professionally and safely operating aircraft for Life Flight Network to facilitate care of critically ill and/or injured patients. Rotor Wing Pilots possess strong aviation skills, a keen sense of safety, superior customer service skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with a variety of people. The pilot will be required to work varied shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Performs pre- and post-flight inspections, plans flights, assists in loading of passengers, baggage and cargo, analyzes weather conditions, maintains logs and records, and prepares written reports. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required (Bachelor's Degree preferred). 5 years' experience as a professional pilot preferred. 2000 hours Total Time required. 1500 hours Pilot in Command. 1000 R/W Turbine hours required. 75 Instrument hours total with at least 50 hours in aircraft instrument time required. 100 hours of nighttime required. Must hold FAA Commercial Helicopter Certificate with Instrument Helicopter Rating. Must have and maintain FAA second class flight physical. Pilots with air medical transportation experience, NVG experience, and mountain experience preferred. Must hold a valid driver's license. All candidates are subject to drug screening and background investigation.

Compensation and Benefits

$123,462 – $145,869 per year (USD)

• Salary range $123,461.52 - $145,869.35 DOE with annual increases on anniversary date
• Sign-on bonus of $10,000.00 upon completion of initial checkride
