Job description

PHI Health is seeking skilled and dedicated pilots to join their elite STAR VFR Pilot team for air ambulance operations. Pilots will be at the forefront of life-saving missions, delivering critical care with speed, precision, and commitment. Aircraft: Bell 407 (BH407) VFR/NVG Operations: 24-hour operations (day/night rotation), CAMTS guidelines Schedule: 7&7 with paid bookend travel days Location: Remote/Varies – travel required Job Duties: - Perform line pilot duties IAW GOM - Participate in community outreach programs - Support Safety Management System, Destination Zero, and other company safety campaigns - Work with internal and external customers to provide safe, efficient, courteous, and reliable service - Assist in loading and unloading of patients and equipment (lifting required, up to 100 lbs) Requirements: - Commercial and Instrument Helicopter Ratings - First Class Medical - CAMTS Requirements: 2,000 Total Hours / 1,500 Hours Helicopter / 1,000 Hours PIC Helicopters / 500 Hours Turbine Helicopters / 100 Hours Unaided Night Operations OR 50 Hours Unaided + 100 Hours NVG - Must meet company flight personnel weight restriction (235 lbs or less) - Strong communication and customer service skills - Interview and acceptance by customer/PHI management - Must pass pre-placement physical exam including functional capacity exam, drug screening, and background screen - Annual Flu Vaccine not required - If successful applicant requires aircraft transition: 1 year minimum service requirement per CBA

  • Must pass pre-placement physical exam including functional capacity exam (lift 100 lbs), drug screening and background screen
