First Officer - EMB 135/145 (NTR)

Job description

JSX is seeking a Quick Upgrade Captain based at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport (OPF). The role involves operating aircraft safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with all FAA regulations and JSX SOPs, while delivering exceptional service. Typical schedules average 3-5 legs per day over 14-16 days per month, with the goal of returning to home base every night. Responsibilities include pre-flight preparation (reviewing flight details in Traxxall, NOTAMs, fuel loads, weather, routing, pre-flight checks), in-flight operations (FAA compliance, communication with Dispatch, Ground Ops, ATC, and Flight Attendant), post-flight duties (quick turn tasks, logging maintenance), recurrent training, baggage handling at smaller airports, and representing JSX with the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Path to Captain upgrade when operational need arises. Required Experience: - High School Diploma/GED - Minimum 2,500 fixed-wing total flight hours - Minimum 500 multi-engine hours - Minimum 500 turbine PIC hours - Minimum 100 hours within the last 12 months - No FAA violations/accidents/incidents/suspensions - No significant training/check ride failures Preferred Experience: - 3,000+ total time - 1,000+ multi-engine hours - Embraer 135/145 experience Skills, Licenses & Certifications: - Valid FAA Pilot Certificate appropriate to the aircraft and operating position held - Current and valid Driver's License and Passport - Current and valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate - Current and valid ATP or Commercial Multi-Engine Certificate - Current and valid FCC Radio Operator's Permit - Must be legally authorized to work in the United States full-time (no visa sponsorship available)

• Training pay: $150/day + per diem; line pay: $259/day + per diem
