Job description

PHI Health is seeking skilled and dedicated VFR Pilots to join their air medical team in Marion, IN. Pilots will be at the forefront of life-saving missions, delivering critical care with speed, precision, and commitment. Aircraft: Bell 407 (BH407) VFR/NVG Operations: 24-hour operations (day/night rotation) Schedule: 7&7 rotation Job Duties: - Perform line pilot duties IAW GOM - Support Safety Management System, Destination Zero, and other company safety campaigns - Work with internal and external customers to provide safe, efficient, courteous, and reliable service - Participate in community outreach programs and adhere to PHI Air Medical policies - Assist in loading and unloading of patients and equipment (lift up to 100 lbs required) Requirements (CAMTS): - Commercial Helicopter Rating and Instrument Helicopter Rating required - First Class Medical - 2,000 total flight hours - 1,500 hours helicopter - 1,000 hours PIC helicopters - 500 hours turbine helicopters - 100 hours unaided night operations OR 50 hours unaided night + 100 hours NVG - Must meet company flight personnel weight restriction policy (235 lbs or less) - Must pass pre-placement physical exam including functional capacity exam, drug screening, and background check - Annual Flu Vaccine not required - Interview and acceptance by customer/PHI management - Strong communication and customer service skills If successful applicant requires aircraft transition: 1 year minimum service requirement per CBA. If relocation package is utilized: 2 year minimum service requirement per CBA.

Additional requirements

  • Must meet and maintain the company's flight personnel weight restriction policy (individual weight 235 lbs or less)
  • Must pass pre-placement physical exam including functional capacity exam (lift 100 pounds), drug screening and background screen
  • Interview and acceptance by customer/PHI management
  • If aircraft transition is required, 1 year minimum service requirement per CBA
  • If relocation package is utilized, 2 year minimum service requirement per CBA
