Job description

Helicopter Pilot (Fire) for HAA (Helicopter Air Ambulance) operations. Provide medical air transportation services for REACH customers. Responsibilities include safely transporting customers to and from locations and facilities with a team of medical experts, ensuring aircraft readiness for flight dispatches per FAR and REACH requirements, maintaining accurate documentation and record keeping, effective communication with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners, providing shift change information, and maintaining required certifications and ongoing training. Must meet U.S. Forest Service carding requirements including 100 flight hours in the past 12 months, 50 hours in the AS350, and 200 hours of mountain flight time. Requires current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate, helicopter instrument rating, current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate. 230 pound weight limit with flight gear. Preferred: AS350/H125 aircraft experience, High School Diploma/Equivalent or higher.

Compensation and Benefits

$106,511 – $117,162 per year (USD)

• Sign-on bonus $15,000 (subject to eligibility)
• Retention bonus $40,000 after 3 years, plus additional retention bonuses
• Fire stipend $5,000 upon successful completion of Fire Check Ride
• On duty housing (for select locations)
• 7 days on / 7 days off schedule
