Job description

Challenger 300 Lead Pilot position based out of Hawthorne, CA (HHR). This is a 2-pilot account supported by a dedicated Maintenance Technician, flying under Part 135. The Lead Pilot will operate the aircraft as Pilot in Command (PIC) and lead a team of 2 crew members. Responsibilities include facilitating and scheduling owner flights, aircraft maintenance and flight crew training, maintaining aircraft in owner-ready state, managing crew schedules, overseeing aircraft expenses, leading production of SOPs and checklists, and ensuring compliance with all Federal Aviation regulations. Requirements: High school diploma or GED, Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate, Challenger 300 PIC Type Rating, 3,000 hours Total Time, 1,000 PIC Turbine hours. CFI, CFII, and MEI certificates preferred but not required. High-level working knowledge of FAR Part 91, 61 and AIM Part Sections 4 & 5. Must be able to pass a preemployment DOT drug test and be subject to random drug screening. This is not a commutable position – applicants must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Hawthorne/Greater Los Angeles area.
