Job description
Flexjet Helicopters, a leader in shared helicopter ownership, is searching for First Officers to join its growing organisation serving the UK and beyond with a premier fleet of Sikorsky and Leonardo helicopters based in the South of England, the Midlands, and the Channel Islands. Duties include: acting functionally responsible to the Captain for all flying duties; maintaining high personal standards of discipline, conduct and appearance; supporting the Captain in professional expertise, morale and crew discipline; carrying out flight duties in accordance with Company Operations Manual; volunteering advice and assistance to the Captain; supporting an open and honest Flight Safety culture and CRM; maintaining a current medical certificate; assisting with administrative duties; maintaining high crew coordination; greeting passengers and assisting with seating and luggage; conducting passenger briefings; performing other duties as required. Requirements: - Valid UK ATPL(H) or CAA CPL(H), or EASA equivalent acceptable for validation - Instrument Rating - 500 hours Rotary Total Time - Valid UK Class 1 Medical - EASA ATPL(H) desirable - Valid EASA Class 1 medical desirable - MP (multi-pilot) experience desirable - Hold a valid UK Passport or Right to Work in the UK - ELP (English Language Proficiency) Rating on EASA Licence – minimum level 5 - S-92, AW139, S76, or AW109 type rating - Previous experience in Commercial or Corporate aircraft desirable - Previous Military or North Sea experience desirable - Must possess legal right to work in the UK and ability to travel in/out of Europe and all cities/countries served - Ability to work weekends, nights, shifts, holidays and overnight trips - Employment predicated on successful completion of Line Training
Additional requirements
- UK CAA licence, or EASA equivalent acceptable for a validation
- Must hold a valid UK Passport or Right to work in the UK
- Must possess the legal right to work in the UK and be able to travel in and out of Europe and to all cities/countries where Flexjet Helicopters serves
- Ability to work weekends, nights, shifts, holidays and overnight trips
- Employment is predicated on successful completion of Line Training
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move heavy baggage in excess of 20 kgs
- Other bases: South of England, the Midlands and the Channel Islands
