Baker Aviation is hiring pilots under Part 135 operations. Open positions listed on the page are: 1. Citation X - Type Rated PIC 2. Challenger 300 - PIC 3. Citation X - Type Rated SIC 4. Challenger 300 - Type Rated SIC The company specializes in supermid wholesale charter, fleet management and maintenance. The pilot application asks whether the applicant holds a current 1st or 2nd class medical, whether the applicant is currently typed in the advertised position, and whether the applicant is legally authorized to work in the United States; it also asks whether the applicant will now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visa status. The posting states that applicants who do not meet the qualifications for the position (type rating plus minimum hour requirements) will not receive further communication. Applicants must disclose any involvement in an aircraft accident or incident as defined by the Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and any failed proficiency check, competency check or other examination for any aircraft qualification or rating. Pre-employment testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, PCP and amphetamines is required. A PRD (Pilot Records Database) report is pulled prior to an offer and all employers listed on the PRD must appear on the resume, which must carry accurate dates of employment for the past 5 years. The application asks for a home-base schedule preference of 15/13 or 8/6.
