Job description
Executive Jet Management (EJM), a subsidiary of NetJets and a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking an experienced Pilot in Command (PIC) for a Gulfstream 280 based at KRDU (Raleigh-Durham, NC). This is a three-pilot operation flying majority Part 91 with some Part 135. The role involves a long-term opportunity supporting a distinguished aircraft owner, with a dedicated Maintenance Technician on site. Responsibilities: - Ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft - Complete flight planning, performance, and weight & balance tasks - Lead TPC briefings and mitigate operational risks - Comply with company SOPs and coordinate with company personnel - Act as Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator - Complete pre-flight tasks and record aircraft discrepancies - Monitor and ensure aircraft ground servicing (fueling, oil, oxygen) - Conduct passenger briefings and deliver exceptional customer service - Utilize CRM and TEM during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations - Maintain regulatory and company-required training and recency of experience Minimum Requirements: - Total flight time: 3,500 hours - Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1,500 hours - Pilot in Command: 2,000 hours - PIC MEL: 500 hours - Instrument: 300 hours - Jet: 500 hours Preferred: - 4–6 years of experience - Prior experience in corporate/business aviation - Large cabin Gulfstream experience
