Job description

Position: Pilatus PC12 PIC, Air Ambulance – Sidney, MT (SDY) Job Summary: The Pilot in Command (PIC) oversees and is directly responsible for the safe and efficient transport of all crew members, patients, and other riders by Pilatus PC-12 fixed-wing aircraft during air ambulance operations. The PIC will ensure compliance with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), Aeronautical Information Manual (AIM), and General Operations Manual (GOM) procedures and guidelines before, during, and after all phases of transport. Minimum License, Certification, & Flight Experience: - Commercial Single-Engine Land (ASEL) & Multi-Engine Land (AMEL) Certification - Instrument Rating - Current FAA First- or Second-Class Medical Certificate - Driver's License with Acceptable Driving Record - Must meet FAA Part 135 Minimum Flight Experience for PIC IFR Operations - 50 hours in Pilatus PC12 (required) Preferred Experience: - CAMTS Minimum Standards (Preferred) - 2,500 hours Total Time (2,000 hours in airplane category) - 1,000 hours PIC - 500+ hours of cross-country time - 100+ hours in Instrument Meteorological Conditions (IMC) - 100+ hours of night flight time - Air Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate - Previous air medical transport experience - Previous simulator-based training in the Pilatus PC12 - Minimum of 3 years of related experience

Additional requirements

  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required.
  • Must meet FAA Part 135 minimum flight experience for PIC IFR operations.

Compensation and Benefits

$100,284 – $139,500 per year (USD)
