Job description

Executive Jet Management (EJM), a subsidiary of NetJets and Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking qualified candidates for a Lead Pilot in Command (Lead PIC) position on a Global XRS aircraft based at Miami, FL (KOPF / Opa-locka). This is a three-pilot account supported by a Maintenance Technician and Cabin Attendant, operating under FAR Part 135. The Lead PIC serves as a peer-leader to a designated flight department with a focus on effective crew resource management, client service, and completion of flight department administrative duties. The Lead PIC actively participates in the flying schedule and adheres to all PIC duties and expectations. Responsibilities include: - Managing client relationships and proactively communicating to address issues or opportunities - Working with maintenance personnel to ensure compliance with all aircraft maintenance events - Completing flight department administrative duties (invoice reviews, auditing, vendor relations, charter approvals, crew schedules) - Supporting and motivating flight department crew members - Ensuring crewing and trip assignments are compliant with company and regulatory requirements - Completing flight planning, performance, and weight and balance tasks - Utilizing TPC briefing methodology to mitigate operational risks - Complying with company SOPs and acting as Ground Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator - Completing all aircraft pre-flight tasks and recording discrepancies - Delivering exceptional customer service to owners and passengers - Maintaining regulatory and company-required training and recency of experience - Ensuring all crewmembers remain qualified and compliant Minimum Requirements: - 4–6 years of experience - FAA Type rating in applicable fleet (Global XRS) - Prior experience in corporate/business aviation preferred - Total flight time: 3,500 hours - Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1,500 hours - Pilot in Command: 2,000 hours - PIC MEL: 500 hours - Instrument: 300 hours - Jet: 500 hours
