Job description

Northern Jet is a private aviation company with over 31 years of experience, offering personalized luxury travel with a focus on safety, convenience, and quality. Position: Pilot-in-Command (Captain) on Learjet 45/75 Schedule: 8 days on / 6 days off Location: Home Based – must reside in the eastern half of the United States, including Texas and states east of Texas. Key Responsibilities: - Operate flights under Part 91 and Part 135 regulations - Ensure full compliance with FAA regulations, duty limits, and company procedures - Lead and coordinate all aspects of flight execution with crew - Maintain aircraft safety, readiness, and reporting standards - Deliver a white-glove client experience aligned with Northern Jet standards - Complete required administrative and operational documentation PIC Minimum Qualifications: - 3,000 hours Total Time - 1,500 hours PIC Time - 500+ hours of Multi-Engine Time - Current 1st Class Medical - Unrestricted FAA Airline Transport Pilot License Other Requirements: - No accidents, incidents, or warnings within the past five years - Thorough knowledge of corporate aviation and international procedures, including operations in Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean - Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills - Maintain an impeccable professional appearance at all times - Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds - Successfully pass a drug screening test - Clear a comprehensive background check - Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record

Compensation and Benefits

$156,250 per year (USD)

  • Base salary $156,250 with total compensation over $175,000 in first year
  • Scheduled Day Off (SDO) pay: $1,150 for PIC
  • Holiday Pay: $800
  • Domestic Per Diem: $75/day; International Per Diem: $120/day
