Captain - SW4 (NTR)

Job description

Medevac Captain operating the SW4 Metroliner in support of Northern communities requiring timely, critical care. The role carries full responsibility for the safe and effective operation of the aircraft, crew, and mission. Duties include exercising final authority over safe operation of the aircraft, conducting pre-flight inspections, ensuring proper weight and balance, leading and coordinating flight crew activities during all phases of flight, communicating with dispatch, ATC, and ground teams, responding to in-flight events including emergencies and operational changes, and completing post-flight inspections and reporting maintenance requirements. Involves multi-engine IFR flying in dynamic and remote environments, complex and time-critical missions, and operations across Ontario as well as domestic and international destinations. Qualifications & Requirements: - TC Commercial Pilot Licence – Fixed Wing - TC ATPL - Multi-instrument Flight Rating - Valid Canadian Aviation Medical - Minimum 2 years of experience and 2,000 total time hours - Minimum 500 Multi-Engine PIC hours - Valid Driver's License - Restricted Radiotelephone Operator License - Valid Canadian passport and/or the ability to work in Canada and travel to the USA - Effective interpersonal skills - Excellent oral and written communication (English language proficiency required) - Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector (within the last 30 days)
