Life Link III is a premier, nationally recognized air medical transport company. The Base Lead Pilot plays a dual role—serving as a highly skilled Pilot in Command while also leading and supporting the day-to-day operations of the assigned base at Rice Lake, WI. Responsibilities: - Manage rotor wing pilot schedules for the base - Timely entry of base schedule in Flight & Duty Tracker - First level review of timecards - Assist base pilots in the performance of their duties - Develop and keep updated base adverse weather plan - Lead and model professional, productive, and team-orientated behaviors - Conduct 621 Training - Collaborate with the Clinical Base Lead to provide aviation updates for base meetings - Develop and maintain a 'Local Area Hazards Map' - Ensure new pilots receive base orientation - Ensure medical equipment is weighed as specified in Section 4 of the GOM - Audit Life Link III Flight & Duty Tracker for accuracy - Ensure policies and procedures are followed - Schedule and lead monthly Base Operations Meeting in collaboration with the ACP - Complete all necessary paperwork/administrative responsibilities in a timely manner Preferred Qualifications: - Prior experience in HAA (Helicopter Air Ambulance) operations - Prior Search and Rescue Experience - ATP Certificate - Bachelor's degree Employment Requirements: - Must be authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship provided) - Must comply with all rules and regulations, accreditation standards, and applicable laws

- Must provide a copy of a valid pilot certificate, including type ratings and any endorsements relevant to this position
Compensation and Benefits
- Base pay $54.06 - $74.83 per hour, based on experience
- Base lead pay: $2.50 stipend added to current hourly rate
- Bonus up to $45,000 over three years (Rice Lake specific): Year 1 $10,000 / Year 2 $15,000 / Year 3 $20,000
