Job description

Airline Flight Academy (AFA), flight training partner for Ryanair, is accepting applications for their partly-sponsored B737 type-rating programme in the United Kingdom (RYR DAC). Cadets pay an up-front type rating fee of €5,000 followed by a yearly reducing training costs agreement with no salary deductions. Successful candidates will be trained to the highest standards and will fly the newest B737 8200 for Ryanair Group. Requirements: - Hold unrestricted right to live and work in the UK (including UK pre-settled status). No visa sponsorship available. - Must hold a valid EASA (CPL) Frozen ATPL and/or Dual Licence (UK & EASA). - Must hold a valid EU (Part-MED) issued Class 1 medical certificate. - Must hold a valid EASA multi-engine instrument rating. - Must hold a certificate of satisfactory completion of EASA Advanced Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (AUPRT) in accordance with FCL.745.A. - Must hold a certificate of satisfactory completion of EASA APS MCC in accordance with AMC2 FCL.735.A. Standard MCC and MCC/JOC certificates are no longer accepted. - Modular course cadets need 100 hours PIC, or 70 hours PIC if completed during integrated flying training. - English Language Proficiency minimum Level 4 (Operational Level). - Must have a flight school report written in English, signed by HOT, containing all ATPL results, CPL & MEIR series passes, and training performance information. - Ability to pass an enhanced background check and meet all regulatory requirements. - Age: not over 65. Selection process includes online pre-assessment test (AON, €60 fee), simulator assessment in B737-800 or B737-8200 FTD, English language test, technical assessment, and personnel interview. Selection takes place in Dublin or other training centres.
