Captain - Astra (NTR)

SkyCare is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Astra Captain supporting both air ambulance and charter operations. This role involves multi-engine turbine IFR operations across domestic and international routes, including long-range and time-sensitive missions throughout Canada, the United States, Mexico, and the Caribbean. The position is suited to experienced pilots with strong operational judgment, leadership ability, and a background in corporate or charter flying environments. Captains are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, as well as the safety of all crew members, passengers, and patients on board. All pilots are required to complete initial company training and successfully pass a PPC conducted by a Transport Canada Inspector or Approved Check Pilot. Qualifications & Certifications: - Minimum 3,000 hours total time - Minimum 500 hours Multi-Engine PIC - Current Group 1 Instrument Rating - TC ATPL - Valid Category 1 Medical - Valid Canadian Passport and ability to travel internationally (including the United States) - Legally entitled to work in Canada - Valid Driver's License - Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Certificate - Clean Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector (within the last 30 days) - Excellent oral and written communication skills (English proficiency required) Preferred Experience: - Previous multi-engine turbine or jet experience - Experience in corporate or charter operations - Experience operating in IFR, multi-crew environments - International and/or long-range operational experience
