Job description

Seasonal Line Pilot flying single-engine Cessna 206s and 207s on Part 135 on-demand passenger, cargo, and mail runs between Knox County Regional Airport and the islands of Penobscot Bay (Vinalhaven, North Haven, Matinicus, and other destinations). High-frequency VFR flying with many takeoffs and landings into short, rugged island strips in coastal Maine weather. Duties include loading and securing freight and baggage, computing weight and balance, making go/no-go weather decisions, conducting preflight inspections and light servicing (fueling, securing aircraft), assisting passengers, supporting emergency medical transport flights, and completing logs, manifests, and dispatch paperwork. Must meet 14 CFR 135.243 requirements. Preferred: Prior Part 135 experience, Cessna 206/207 or comparable high-wing single time, short-field/unimproved-strip/backcountry experience, instrument rating, comfort with cold-weather and coastal operations, familiarity with Maine and the Penobscot Bay region.
