Job description

National Cadet Pilot Programme (Emiratisation) - Emirates is seeking young and ambitious Emiratis to join the fully sponsored National Cadet Pilot Programme at the Emirates Flight Training Academy in Dubai. The programme takes candidates from zero flying hours through ground school and flight training to becoming a First Officer on Emirates widebody aircraft. The programme consists of four phases: Phase 1 - Ground School (approx. 12 months), Phase 2 - Flight Training (approx. 12 months, completing approximately 274 hours of flight and simulator experience), Phase 3 - Type Rating (approx. 3 months), and Phase 4 - Line Training (approx. 8 months). Upon completion, cadets will hold a Commercial Pilot Licence (Frozen ATPL) with Multi-Instrument Rating (CPL/Multi IR), Multi Crew Cooperation Course (MCC), and Jet Orientation Course certificates. Requirements: Must hold valid UAE passport and Khulasat Al Qaid. Must have completed National Service. Minimum height 160 cm. Medically fit with BMI of 29 or less. For High School Graduates (Scientific Stream only): age 18-21, minimum high school score 80%, must be science graduates with last year education in chemistry, physics, or mathematics. For Degree Holders (Diploma and Above): age 22-26, minimum GPA 3.0 in Scientific or Engineering Major. Language Proficiency: IELTS 6.0 (minimum 5.5 per element) or TOEFL PBT 510/IBT 65.

• Must have completed National Service before joining the programme
• Minimum height of 160 cm
• Medically fit with a BMI of 29 or less
• High School Graduates (Scientific Stream only): minimum high school score of 80%, science graduates with last year education in chemistry, physics, or mathematics
• Degree Holders (Diploma and Above): minimum GPA of 3.0 in a Scientific or Engineering Major
• IELTS score of 6.0 (minimum of 5.5 per element) or TOEFL PBT 510 / IBT 65 at the time of application
