Job description

As a Dash 8 Captain with Summit Air, you are responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft with a passion for customer service and prioritizing safety for clients. Summit Air, headquartered in Yellowknife, NWT, operates across Canada, specializing in passenger charters, cargo transport, and customized flight solutions for industry-leading clients with a legacy of excellence in northern and remote aviation. Essential Responsibilities: Operate Dash 8-300 aircraft safely and efficiently throughout Northern Canada as PIC; Stay current with all available flight information, including weather, and applicable NOTAMs; Verify type A flight plans for accuracy; Participate in the aircraft pre-flight inspection and all post-flight duties. Qualifications: 4000 Total Time; 2500 PIC; 2000 MPIC; Dash 8 PPC that has not expired for more than 24 months; BC flying experience is a great asset; Strong interpersonal and communication skills; Commitment to safety culture; Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing requirements.
