Job description

Transavia is looking for an experienced B737NG Instructor (TRI/TRE) based in Brussels, Belgium. As part of the new Brussels base (in addition to Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Eindhoven), you will be part of the team building this base from day one. You will fly on the Boeing 737NG, with a transition to Airbus A321neo planned in the coming years (retraining provided). As Instructor/Captain at Transavia, you will fly a wide range of challenging and dynamic routes within Europe, including Greek islands, city-trip destinations, and airports in northern Europe. You will be part of a professional team of over 700 pilots, responsible for ensuring the safety and efficiency of flight operations, delivering excellent service to passengers, and closely cooperating with the full crew. Additionally, depending on your qualifications and experience, you will carry out TRI or TRE duties. Requirements: - Valid EASA ATPL with TRI or TRE qualification - Valid ME/IR(A) PBN - Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate - ICAO ELP Level 5 (upgrade to ELP 6 required during training) - Valid Boeing 737NG type rating with a minimum of 3,500 total flight hours (current), of which at least 1,000 hours as Captain on type (including 50 hours flown in the last 6 months) - Ability to swim one full lap without aids (for wet drill participation) - Valid EU passport The position is offered at 24–32 hours per week. The role is based in Brussels.

  • Starting salary: €11,220 gross per month
  • Additional block hour allowance: €39 gross per block hour (up to 100+ hours per month)
