Airline Flight Academy (AFA), flight training partner for Ryanair, is accepting applications for their self-sponsored B737 type-rating cadet programme. Successful candidates will be trained to the highest standards and will fly the newest B737 8200 for Ryanair Group, paving the way to becoming future Captains. Requirements: - Unrestricted right to live and work in the EU and/or UK - Valid EASA (CPL) Frozen ATPL and/or Dual Licence (UK & EASA); candidates with only a UK licence are eligible for Ryanair UK fleet only - Valid EU (Part-MED) Class 1 medical certificate - Valid EASA multi-engine instrument rating - Certificate of satisfactory completion of EASA Advanced Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (AUPRT) in accordance with FCL.745.A - Certificate of satisfactory completion of EASA APS MCC in accordance with AMC2 FCL.735.A (Standard MCC and MCC/JOC certificates are not accepted) - Flight school report written in English, signed by HOT, containing all ATPL results, CPL & MEIR series passes, and training performance information - Modular course cadets: 100 hours PIC (or 70 hours PIC if completed during integrated flying training) - English Language Proficiency: minimum ICAO Operational Level 4 - Ability to pass enhanced background check Selection process takes place in Dublin or other training centres, includes online pre-assessment (€60 fee), simulator assessment in B737-800 or B737-8200 FTD, English language test, technical assessment, and personnel interview. Successful candidates will be offered a place on a type-rating course.

Additional requirements

• Unrestricted right to live and work in the EU and/or UK
• Frozen ATPL (EASA CPL) or dual UK & EASA licence required; candidates holding only a UK licence are eligible to fly solely for the Ryanair UK fleet
• Certificate of satisfactory completion of EASA AUPRT in accordance with FCL.745.A
• Certificate of satisfactory completion of EASA APS MCC in accordance with AMC2 FCL.735.A; standard MCC and MCC/JOC certificates are not accepted
• Flight school report written in English and signed by the Head of Training, containing all ATPL results and CPL & MEIR series passes
• Ability to pass an enhanced background check
• Self-sponsored B737 type-rating programme; €60 online pre-assessment fee payable to AON
• Bases throughout Europe and the Ryanair UK fleet
