Job description
MEA is inviting applications from young, motivated Lebanese Nationals to be trained under the MEA Cedar Executive Cadet Pilot Selection Program to become qualified First Officers (Co-Pilots) on the EMB-550 fleet. Candidates will undergo a multi-stage selection process including academic examination, initial medical checkup, psychometric assessment, practical aviation evaluation, interviews, and comprehensive medical examination. Successful candidates will join the MEA/CDX Pilot Training Program to obtain EMB-550 Type Rating. Training is conducted at MEATC and Flight Safety International (USA), comprising ground school, simulator, and actual airplane flying. Requirements: Lebanese Nationality (foreign passport from EU, USA or Canada is a plus); Lebanese Baccalaureate or official equivalence; ICAO/FAA/EASA CPL/IR/ME license with frozen ATPL; 1,500 hours total time; 300 hours multi-engine; 250 hours PIC; born between 01 December 1990 and 08 December 2004; minimum height 170 cm (males) / 168 cm (females); non-smoker; medically fit; English and Arabic proficiency; clean judicial record; ability to travel to the USA. Contract term is 10 years. Type rating cost is approximately US$100,000 (debited to cadet's personal account, waived upon fulfilling all contractual obligations).

- Near vision correction is not accepted; astigmatism and colour blindness are not accepted
- Certified personal guarantee in solidarity with a sponsor acceptable to MEA required
- Type rating cost estimated at US$100,000 debited to the cadet's account, waived when all contractual obligations are fulfilled
- Ten-year contractual commitment required
Compensation and Benefits
$36,000 per year (USD)
