Northern Jet is a private aviation company with over 31 years of experience, operating a fleet of 40+ jets with an ARGUS Platinum safety rating. This role is for a Pilot-in-Command (Captain) on the Citation XLS, operating under both Part 91 and Part 135 regulations out of Grand Rapids, MI. Key Responsibilities: - Operate flights under Part 91 and Part 135 regulations - Ensure full compliance with FAA regulations, duty limits, and company procedures - Lead and coordinate all aspects of flight execution with crew - Maintain aircraft safety, readiness, and reporting standards - Deliver a white-glove client experience aligned with Northern Jet standards - Complete required administrative and operational documentation PIC Minimum Qualifications: - 3,000 hours Total Time - 1,500 hours PIC Time - 500+ hours Multi-Engine Time - Current 1st Class Medical - Unrestricted FAA Airline Transport Pilot License Other Requirements: - No accidents, incidents, or warnings within the past five years - Thorough knowledge of corporate aviation and international procedures including operations in Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean - Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills - Must maintain an impeccable professional appearance - Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds - Must pass drug screening and comprehensive background check - Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record

Additional requirements

• No accidents, incidents, or warnings within the past five years
• Must be located in Grand Rapids, MI or within 2 hours
• Thorough knowledge of corporate aviation and international procedures, including operations in Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check (E-Verify participant)
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Compensation and Benefits

$146,250 – $175,000 per year (USD)

• Base salary of $146,250 with total compensation over $175,000 first year
• Scheduled Day Off (SDO) pay: $1,150 for PIC
• Holiday Pay: $800
• Domestic Per Diem: $75/day; International Per Diem: $120/day
• Additional role bonuses up to $20,000 (e.g., Standardization Captain, Instructor)
