Job description

Breeze Airways is hiring a Lear 45 Captain based at Tampa International Airport. Captains are responsible for ensuring safe and timely flight operations in accordance with all Company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs). Responsibilities include determining airworthiness, reviewing weather and field conditions, supervising crewmembers, maintaining proficiency, conducting pre- and post-flight inspections, ensuring proper flight planning and fueling, and assisting with aircraft/passenger/baggage handling. Minimum Qualifications: - Must be at least 23 years old at time of hire - FAA Unrestricted Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with airplane multi-engine class rating - 2,500+ hours total flight time (excluding simulator and/or Flight Engineer time) - Minimum 1,000 hours fixed wing PIC - Minimum 1,000 hours fixed wing multi-engine - Minimum 500 hours fixed wing jet - Minimum 500 hours multicrew - Actively flying two of the past five years - High school diploma or equivalent - Must maintain pilot training history in FAA Pilot Records Database (PRD) - Current First-Class FAA Medical Certificate - Valid FCC Radiotelephone Operator's Permit - Valid U.S. driver's license and valid passport - Must be able to travel unrestricted to/from the United States - Must pass pre-employment drug test, TSA fingerprint-based criminal history check, and Breeze background check - Must have authorization to work in the United States Preferred Qualifications: - Lear 45 Type Rating - Lear 45 Captain Experience - Previous US Part 135 or Part 121 Experience

  • Pilot training history must be maintained and disclosed per FAA Pilot Records Database (PRD) regulations
  • Valid FCC Radiotelephone Operator's Permit
  • Valid U.S. driver's license
  • Valid passport
  • Must be able to travel unrestricted to and from the United States
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Must pass a TSA fingerprint-based criminal history records check and a Breeze background check
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
