Helvetic Airways is a Swiss airline offering flights to various destinations in Europe as well as charter and wet-lease flights. We are looking for an independent and proactive personality as Direct Entry Commander. Our offer: - Short-haul flights: average flight time of 1.5 hours, two to four flights per day - Funded type rating - Home base: Zurich Airport - Rolling planning, various part-time models (40%, 60% or 80%), OFF-wish options - Opportunity for a career as instructor or in management (if required and suitable) - Attractive travel discounts for you and your family Requirements for employment as Captain at Helvetic Airways: - Min. 1,000 hours as PIC in MP(A) operations - Min. 3,500 hours in MP(A) operations - CH, EU-25/EFTA or passport without EU/EFTA restrictions - Holds an ATPL with valid Instrument Rating (IR) - Class 1 Medical - English: ICAO Level 4 or higher - German: strong knowledge Desired personality traits / skills of a Captain: - Clearly takes responsibility for his/her actions - Strong leadership and teamwork skills - Communicates in a clear, binding and socially acceptable manner - Mature and loyal personality - Impeccable reputation - Competent in operationally relevant procedural parts (PANS OPS)
Additional requirements
- Swiss (CH), EU-25/EFTA passport, or a passport without EU/EFTA restrictions
- Strong German language skills required
