Job description
Jet Aviation is seeking an experienced and highly professional Gulfstream G800 Captain to join its flight operations team based in Kowloon, Hong Kong. The role involves operating one of the world's most advanced ultra-long-range business jets while delivering the highest standards of safety, professionalism and VIP service. The Captain will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the G800, working closely with the Director of Flight Operations. Approximately 250 flight hours per year are expected, with extensive international and VIP operations. Main Responsibilities: - Assume overall responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, crew, passengers and cargo. - Conduct all flights in accordance with the company's Operations Manual, SOPs, applicable regulations and industry best practices. - Exercise sound command judgement and maintain the highest standards of flight safety and operational discipline. - Manage fuel planning and ensure adequate fuel reserves. - Coordinate and manage the flight crew to ensure excellent CRM and airmanship. - Maintain coordination with cabin crew for cabin safety and passenger requirements. - Complete all required flight, technical and operational documentation and logs. - Report incidents, occurrences and other operational matters per company procedures. - Deliver exceptional VIP passenger service while maintaining safety as the highest priority. Minimum Requirements: - Valid ATPL — FAA, UK CAA, EASA or equivalent accepted. - Gulfstream G800 type rating preferred, although non-type-rated candidates will be considered. - Previous Gulfstream experience strongly preferred. - Proven experience as a Captain on business jets or other relevant aircraft. - Strong international and/or VIP aviation experience preferred. - Class 1 Medical Certificate. - Excellent leadership, communication and decision-making skills. - Strong understanding of CRM and modern business aviation operations. - Professional, calm and adaptable, with the ability to operate effectively in a demanding international environment. - Willingness to undertake international travel and flexible working schedules.
