Canadian Helicopters is seeking a Captain and First Officer on the S76 in support of Air Ambulance Operations in Halifax, Nova Scotia. **Captain Responsibilities:** - Act as a Captain as per Company operation standards - Perform IFR Flights in challenging and rapidly changing environments - Work closely with the customer, respond efficiently to aircraft tasking while maintaining a high level of safety - Coordination and effective communication between crew and dispatch - All duties assigned by the Chief Pilot or Base Manager **First Officer Responsibilities:** - Act as a pilot as per Company operation standards - Any other responsibility related to the position **Common Requirements:** - Must be willing to relocate to Halifax, Nova Scotia - Valid Canadian passport or valid authorization to work in Canada and to travel to the USA (sponsorship not available) - Valid Class 1 Medical - Ability to successfully complete the Controlled Goods Security assessment application for NVG purposes - Immunization records with required vaccinations are mandatory - Customer focused and a team player - Good communication skills and positive attitude - Criminal record search will be conducted prior to hire **Captain-Specific Requirements:** - Valid and unrestricted Transport Canada ATPL(H) License - Minimum 2,000 hours rotary wing flight time - Minimum 500 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC), of which 200 hours on Multi-Engine Aircraft - Minimum 2 years of experience in Instrument Flight Operations with actual IFR flight hours as PIC - Previous experience flying in a 703 Air Ambulance operation as a Captain (preferred) - NVG experience an asset - S76 endorsement considered an asset **First Officer-Specific Requirements:** - Valid ATPL or passed ATPL written exams within the previous 12 months - Valid Commercial Rotary-wing License - 500 hours rotary-wing time - Transport Canada Group IV Instrument Rating - Unrestricted Night Rating - Previous Night/IFR flying experience in the Maritime environment is an asset
