Job description
Executive Jet Management (EJM), a subsidiary of NetJets and a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking qualified candidates for a Pilot in Command (PIC) on a Gulfstream 550 aircraft based in Fort Lauderdale (KFLL). This is a three-pilot operation supporting a long-tenured ownership group. The account flies both Part 91 and Part 135, averaging approximately 450–500 flight hours annually, with a mix of domestic and international operations including significant travel throughout Europe. The PIC is responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft while delivering an exceptional travel experience. Responsibilities include flight planning, performance and weight & balance tasks, TPC briefings, compliance with company SOPs, pre-flight tasks, passenger briefings, and utilizing CRM/TEM methodologies. Requirements: - FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate - FAA Type rating in the GV series strongly preferred - 4–6 years of experience - Total flight time: 3,500 hours - Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1,500 hours - Pilot in Command: 2,000 hours - PIC MEL: 500 hours - Instrument: 300 hours - Jet: 500 hours - Prior experience in corporate/business aviation preferred
