Job description
Lead Captain - Global 8000 based in Van Nuys, CA. The Lead Captain serves as the Pilot in Command (PIC) for assigned flights, ensuring the highest standards of safety, security, and quality. Responsibilities include pre-flight and post-flight inspections, filing flight plans, analyzing weather and route conditions, mentoring and guiding crew members, conducting performance reviews, coordinating schedules and training, managing trip documentation, maintaining aircraft manuals, assisting in crew hiring, and representing Jet Aviation professionally. Requirements: Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and FAA First Class Medical. Five years aviation experience with 3,500 hours total fixed-wing time, including 1,500 hours as PIC, 1,500 hours Multi-Engine, 500 hours Turbo-Jet, 500 hours Turbine, 100 hours Night, and 75 hours Simulated Instrument. High school diploma required, college degree preferred. Valid driver's license with clean driving record. Ability to work a variable schedule and willingness to travel extensively worldwide with no restrictions.

Compensation and Benefits
